Eat Together 2.0 -Speakeasy Supper

We invite you to gather and celebrate the Lunar New Year in a private loft space in the heart of Fan Tan Alley.  Prepare to explore your new year's intentions with founder, owner and creative force behind Silk Road Tea, Daniela Cubelic.

On this special Moonrise evening, Daniela will open up and talk about her triumphs and challenges of building a successful business while incorporating the healing, mindfulness principles of Chinese tea mastery and philosophy into her daily life. The Chinese New Year is a time to explore our intentions for the coming year. Through Daniela's talk and creative reflection, we will explore how to support our goals for this year. 

We are creating an evening bringing Mexican and Chineses cuisine together. We will enjoy a traditional Chinese New Year feast with a dash of Baja cuisine for good measure. Noodles and tacos will be alongside each other, not as a fusion, but an Alegre mix of elements from both traditions in one place. We will be celebrating with 5 different drink pairings.   Bring an open mind, discerning palette, and generous attitude for this fun, intimate event. 

Our goal at Moonrise is to encourage community, collective creativity, and stimulate collaboration. Lets get together and have some fun, dream, share and give ourselves the space and permission to explore.
